Branding Experience

Ciao World,

Branding was an experience I’ll never forget. There were ups and there were downs, but in the end we pulled it off. The branding was difficult because I am a person who wants to do everything and puts a lot of stress on me, but in this process I learned that you can’t always do stuff by yourself, and its okay to ask for help. I read a blog that taught me a lot about branding; it’s called Branding Day ~ What an Experience! By J-Maali, it taught me a lot in advanced to prepare myself for the branding day because you should always expect the unexpected. Branding was a great experience and I would love to do it again. There may have been a few rough edges here and there but we came together as one and succeeded in making our company… Prolific Productions.

Eminem - Not Afraid

Ciao World,

Not Afraid embraces a powerful violin background while Eminem faces his public with sincerity. Of course it cost Marshall Mathers a lot to face his demons, to admit his mistakes during his career path. The song unleashes loads of dynamite. It is probably one of the best songs of the album. Eminem also promises not to let his fans down. However, and despite the huge lyrical efforts set on his brand new album, we are entitled to ask: “Who are Eminem’s fans at the moment?” Undoubtedly, they are probably not the same kind of people than the ones that supported the artist a decade ago. It can be partly explained by the fact that the different albums’ tones and topics vary from album to album.

Where have the catchy beats gone, where have the mischievousness and the dark humored spirit of his former albums gone? Too many metal and rock’n roll influences spoil too many songs in my opinion. While it is true that many hip hop artists used diverse varieties of other musical genres to compose their albums, their album’s main musical base remained mostly hip hop sounding. Moreover, Recovery’s mood is morose and constantly self depreciating.

The Right Guy

Ciao World,

Experience is one way to learn from mistakes, but a much less painful way is to listen to the advice of someone you trust. My family friend Paul often try’s to drill some dating standards into my head, but now that I’m in High School i didn’t think he could possibly know what I’m going through...

Finding the right guy is hard! Sure. It’s easy when you’re cruising the mall, smoothie in hand, to find a boy that makes your heart race, but what then? If you manage to talk to him, how do you know if he’s the kind of guy who’ll treat you right or if he’s just in it for sex? What’s a good basis for a relationship? Should you be friends first? What happens if the guy is already your friend? Will that change things? If you brake up will it ruin the good thing you have established? Why does everything have to be so complicated, couldn’t guy just come with a instruction guide?

Fefe Dobson - Stuttering

Ciao World,

Canadian singer-songwriter Fefe Dobson catches her boyfriend 'Stuttering' on her new song from her upcoming third studio album, 'Joy,' in stores Nov. 9.

Over trickling piano chords and mid-tempo percussion, Dobson confidently confronts her possibly unfaithful guy. So to all you cheating boys out there -- if you hesitate, or don't answer a simple question, you're going to get caught:

"Hurry up Hurry up.. / If you ever really care about me .. / Tell the truth, give it up... / You sound guilty 'coz you are stuttering."
